Hello there,
As I was able to understand your concern, I just need to know in which file you have made changes. According to our work flow we need to add menu details in below link and in that you need to add menu configurations which will handle all menu related configurations.

We have already added translations, if you want to change the text you can make changes in below path for laravel (Server side) validation.

lang/en/validation.php

For Vee-Validate Changes you can make the changes in below path. In case your are making any changes then make sure vite validation server must be working.

Query Number 1 -> I also want the subcategories to be displayed in the category carousel below the slider.!

You need to make some changes in below path and then you can see the details of Subcategories.

Query Number 2 -> I would like to know how to reduce the number of categories displayed at the top of the page next to the Velocity logo.

You need to add limit here in below path.
