The problem of not displaying product categories

In the product category, I created a new category and now it is active, but in the product submission section, the category is empty and does not display any category, even the default category.
Please guide where is the problem

Kindly let us know which Bagisto version you are using.
Have you done any customization on the code end?
Kindly provide a reference video of creating a category and the product edit page because at our end everything is working fine.check the below image for the same.

After checking, You are not selecting the root category while creating a category kindly click on the option and then check the results for the same as shown in the below image.
