Weight Validation

Just noticed that when you create a Configurable item, each variant requires a weight >0.0001 while a simple item can have a weight of 0 as a valid numeric entry. It would be nice to have the two consistent with each other.

In our case, we don't ship in a way that needs a true weight. So I was planning to use weight as a shipping code from 0 to 5. Zero means it could qualify for free delivery while 5 would be the highest delivery cost. The simple items follow that pattern and all a weight of 0. But now configurable items it will not accept the value of 0. As a matter of consistency, I would expect both simple and configurable items to use the same validation. Does that make sense? Peter

Thanks. When I see things like this (potential bugs) is it best to go directly to github or to post here first? Peter
