Add to cart not working

When i click Add to cart button in featured products, it simply disabled get disabled and enable after a reload. But the main problem is that whenever i click add to cart button the product is not added to the cart.

Please provide the solution

Check your Error Log. The add to cart function returns "Internal Server Error (500)".
