How works gitignore in bagisto

Hi,
I can't catch how works the bagisto gitignore!

I've edited default theme views and trying to push it to server but unfortunately my changes is ignored

My changes folder is resources/themes/default/home

Please let me know how to manage default theme customizing,

You can remove the .gitignore file from this path resources/themes/default/home.
