Add Delivery Date

i want to add delivery date. so, the customer can adjust their date to be delivered.
.
i have added new migration in "Orders" table, named "delivery_date".
.
but, i dont know the next step. what should i do. my view is like this

anyone can help me. what should i do. cause i dont know what to do next. i havent make any controller, model, etc yet. cause i dont know where to code it.
