Postcode/Zipcodes

We are using the graphql api to build out the customer dashboard etc.

We have noticed that postcode/zip fields only allows us to enter numeric data, we need to be able to add both numbers and letters.

We can see this is using a pre built library, but not sure how to fix/edit this to work.

Is there a way to tweak this?
