    Way to display price & special price for products of type 'Configurable'

      Is there a way to display price & special price for products of type 'Configurable'.

        In order to set special price you need to edit particular variants of configurable type product.

          That I figured to make change in "Type/Configurable.php". But was wondering whether there was any specific reason to have different behaviour for Configurable products.
