How to use newly created attributes in configurable products

As I notice we can use attribute type = select only in configurable attributes in configurable product like below (correct me if i'm wrong)

Is there a way to use newly created attributes attribute-type = select in the configurable attributes in configurable product

I've created almost like (size attribute) but it is not detected in configurable attributes

I put yes in Use to Create Configurable Product in attributes Configuration

hello @valpuia,

As you have created attribute UKSize, then you need to add the attribute('UKSize) in the attribute family, and then try to create configurable product with same attribute family in which you added your attribute.
