Add Countries List in Home Page like Locale

Dears,

I added the countries dropdown List on the home page, but how to configure it like the Locale?

For example, if the customer chooses another Country (France FR), it will redirect him to fr.example.com and i want to save the selected country on the new page and mark it in the dropdown as SELECTED.
