      I have been reviewing the Bulk upload feature in Bagisto eCommerce. I cannot understand why we need to create a profile with only the attribute family parameter that we will use in the upload profile step anyway? I feel this step is redundant. What is the Add profile step for?
      Why don't we remove this step and upload files directly according to the attribute family?

        @Ardati
        you can create multiple profiles with the relevant name having same family in data flow profile which will help users to create import data profile in meaningful way.

        Let's say, the electronic family will be used to import two type of product one is configurable and another is a simple product, so to import both product type user can create the data flow profile based on their name having the same family.

              Thanks for your reply, @Vaishali-Agarwal, but sorry, I still cannot see an obvious reason.
              When you create the profile, you are only asked for the attribute family. The upload stage asks for the same information too.
              If it's about the naming, I can skip this stage and name my CSV or XCL sheet according to the type of the product configurable or simple. Why add a whole new stage for just giving a different name to the same attribute.
